Playing Schedule



THREE INDOOR COURTS:    The gym is always closed on Sunday, and during the months of December through February youth basketball games willl be in the gym on Saturdays.. The gym will be closed on Mondays January 1 and 15 for holidays.  See options below this section for playing outdoors 7 days a week, including on weekends from sun-up to sundown.  

MONDAY:  7 - 10 a.m. AND 11:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. - closed the 1st and 15th in January

TUESDAY:   1 - 3 p.m. 

WEDNESDAY:  12 noon - 3 p.m. AND 5:30 - 8 p.m.   

THURSDAY:  7 - 9 a.m. (One court for drills); AND 12:45 - 2:45 p.m. 

FRIDAY:  7 - 9 a.m. AND 12 noon - 2 p.m.  

SATURDAY:  No indoor open play time in January.   The gym will be used for youth basketball on Saturdays during the months of November through February.


The outdoor courts are available 7 days a week from 7:00a.m until dark. "OPEN HOURS FOR ALL"  are times you can just show up and mix and mingle with all players on court #'s 1 through 3 and start stacking paddles if these three courts are full. The other three courts will still be available for private reservations during these time slots, but if they are not reserved, Open Play can use all 6 courts.

 Open Hours for All" on outdoor courts are changed due to the change in daylight savings time.  It now gets dark at 5:30 p.m.

Monday's - 3:30p.m. until dark

Tuesday'S:  11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m

Thursday - 3:30p.m. until dark

Saturday's - 11:30a.m. until 3:00p.m.

Sunday's - 2:30 until dark

Except for these times above, all six courts are available to reserve and play with specific players of your choice.  During these hours above, courts 4 through 6 are available to reserve.  To reserve one of the dedicated outdoor courts to play with specific players of your choosing, you need to set up a free account with www.SignUpGenius.com and get a copy of the step by step instructions from the front desk at our gym, or contact Laurie Lee at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and she will email a set of instructions or meet you at the gym before or after play to walk you through how to set up an account with SignUpGenius and reserve a court anytime there is one availabe. You cannot reserve the courts at the front desk.  It must be done BY YOU online. 


BEGINNERS CLINCS: can only be scheduled on our outdoor pickleball complex at White County Parks & Rec, and the weather is too unpredictable in January and February.  I will be teaching several clinics on the indoor courts at TRUETT McConnell University in Cleveland and North Hall Rec Center In north Gainesville in  both January and February.  If anyone wants to come to those,, You must email  Laurie Lee to register on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., get more details, and see if there is availability.  Minimum age of 10, but all participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.


DRILLS IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY:  You must be a member of WCP&R or pay $5 to WCP&R to attend drill Sessions   The weather is too unpredictable in January & February to schedule specific times.  Please proactively email Laurie Lee if you want drill sessions.  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  We will work something out If at all possible.  I am noticing quite a few folks developing bad habits where drill sessions would help.  But as I've said a million times: Our most important goal is for you to have fun, get exercise, and stay injury-free.  So we will never pro-actively point out anything during open play.  You have to ask for help or comments.
